Comiso airport is in the heart of the Val di Noto, in the south east of Sicily and is ideal for anyone travelling to the Baroque towns of the Val di Noto, the blue riband beaches of the south coast, Agrigento or Piazza Armerina. It’s less than an hour from the airport of Catania. Opened in the summer of 2013, the airport is gradually adding flights to its timetable, and at the moment hosts Ryanair and some Alitalia flights.
